Q: How did your journey in movement begin?
From a young age, I was drawn to martial arts. I started Judo at six, and that early introduction laid the foundation for a lifelong fascination with movement. Over the years, I expanded into disciplines like Eskrima, Panantukan, Submission Grappling, and MMA. I further broadened my practice during my sport science studies, which is where I really began to think about movement in a more general, integrated sense. What began as physical training quickly became something deeper—a way to explore self-awareness, resilience, and growth.
Q: What drives your passion for coaching today?
I see physical practice as more than just training the body. It’s a pathway to building a deeper connection with yourself—mentally, emotionally, and physically. I’m passionate about blending the art of coaching with the science of human performance to guide people in a way that’s both evidence-based and personal. Each person’s journey is unique, and I strive to make that journey both effective and meaningful.
Q: How would you describe your approach to training?
Training isn’t just about hitting certain numbers or chasing trends—it’s about aligning movement with purpose. That’s the core belief behind everything I do. What we do, and how we do it, needs to be intentional and meaningful to the individual.
Ultimately, it comes down to what the student wants and needs. My role is to guide that process.
Q: What can clients expect when working with you?
A collaborative, personalised process tailored to your unique needs and goals. This is your journey—and the most meaningful progress comes when you're actively involved in making the decisions, whether that means focusing on building strength, improving range of motion, refining motor control, or addressing specific movement challenges. You won’t be navigating this alone—I’m here to provide guidance, tools, and expertise every step of the way. Together, we’ll explore what works best for you, adjusting as you grow. I see this as a true partnership: you’re the captain steering the ship, and I’m the navigator helping chart the course.
